Brian E. Simoneau - Massachusetts Hardship License and Suspension LawyerAttorney Simoneau is an authority on Massachusetts License Suspensions, Revocations, and Reinstatements. He is a co-author of Massachusetts Motor Vehicle Offenses – Criminal, Civil, and Registry Practice, which is the book that lawyers use to learn how to appeal license suspensions. He routinely consults with and assists other lawyers regarding Registry, Board of Appeal and Superior Court cases. He has over 20 years of experience and he has established himself as a statewide expert in driver’s license suspension law.

Attorney Simoneau has successfully represented clients at all levels of the legal system including the Registry, Board of Appeal, District Court, Superior Court, the Massachusetts Appeals Court, and the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. He was selected by the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers to file an amicus brief in the case of Souza v. Registrar of Motor Vehicles, which resulted successful appeals of thousands of chemical test refusal suspensions across Massachusetts.

If the Registry of Motor Vehicles had denied you a hardship license, refused to reinstate your full license, or suspended your driving privileges in Massachusetts, you have the legal right to appeal the adverse action to the Registry’s Board of Appeal. This is a 3 member quasi-judicial board which has broad powers to review and reverse any decision of the Registrar.

He specializes in Board of Appeal cases and has an outstanding record of success. If you have Registry questions or if you need a lawyer to help get your license reinstated, contact us today. You have the right to be represented by counsel at any Registry or Board of Appeal hearing and having a lawyer often makes the difference between winning or losing.
